A MOTORING enthusiast revealed an amazing hidden feature in his car that left other drivers in awe.

TikToker @Jedhasselloverland posted about the hidden compartment in his Volkswagen Touareg.

In the video, the man filmed a small montage where he reveals a handy piece of roadside kit underneath one of his car seats.

He is then seen folding up the chair, revealing a cord and a pump.

The pump is then connected to a hidden air compressor used to inflate tyres.

Jed said: "I couldn't believe it when I found this special old feature on my 2004 Volkswagen Touareg.

"Underneath the driver's seat it has a built in air compressor so I can pump up my tyres whenever I need to.

"If I go off road and need to let some air out for more traction I can... and when I am finished I can pump them right back up."

The clip has been viewed more than 6,400 times.

Most modern cars do not have an air compressor feature built in.

And purchasing the tool separately can cost drivers anywhere between £15 to £150.

Novice drivers shared their excitement with the cool find.

"Fantastic, I hope it can be used for an air bed too," a TikToker said.

"Sick feature and random too," one said.

"Wow, I did not know that," a second said.

Meanwhile, here are five top tips to keep your car cool.

And one driving expert revealed the "must knows" when driving on a rainy day.

There are also some easy ways to save more pennies when fuelling up.
